This comes instead from the Open64-devel list. Might be interesting,
though not clear how long it would take to get our hands on the source
code.

Subject: [Open64-devel] OpenMP

Hi - We are starting a project to implement OpenMP directives and calls in
the gcc compiler. The project is at a very early stage: we are discussing
specifications and possible architecture. That's why I would like to hear
from you: open64 should has some openMP implementation in it, so at least
this part must have been sorted out. Is there anybody so kind to explain
how things work for open64?

Many thanks
Biagio Lucini
