 Now I have a really interesting ( stupid idea :-) ),

I know the openMP directives for FORTRAN looks as comments to the compiler, so I wonder how does C/C++ handle #pragmas it doesn't know about ? I have some recollection about them being ignored ?

Perhaps we could hook inte where GENERIC stuff is generated and just catch these there ?

  Please, dont be to negative, this just popped into my head.
