Hi,

I've got some support for working on GOMP. For the last few days, I've 
been focused on a bit of study, both inside GCC and in terms of OpenMP, 
making certain my ducks are in a row before diving in.

As such, my first goal is a simple requirements document; that one 
should be easy, and I hope to make that available here in the next day 
or so (assuming I survive voting in Florida!)

That will be followed by a design document. We already have a couple of 
different preliminary documnets in this area; I'd like to have something 
solid by mid-November. Everyone's contributions are welcome, and if you 
think a past contribution has been lost or forgotten, now's the time to 
dust it off.

I'll be asking a lot of opinions as we try to nail down how we're going 
to make this work.

If anyone has comments or suggestions, I'm interested in hearing them.
