Good Day Gotmail List,

I have completed my testing on the fixes for the temporary file clean up
issue. After a week, all temporary files are removed. The problem was if
pulling the page off the server failed the program would "die" and leave
these files. These failures were related mostly to server busy or
communication issues.

The attached file is a version of gotmail that incorporates the
following:

1. Properly clean up temporary file upon errors.

2. Added summary to the configuration options (--summary) which will
print a summary of each folder's unread message count. It defaults to
off so that it should not impact existing configurations. I use this in
a cron job to see if gotmail is pulling any mail off of the server and
for other metrics.

These changes were tested for about a week on a network consisting of
three users and about a half-dozen hotmail accounts. Anyone who wishes
to use this program should perform their own tests before adding it to
any automated processing script.

I would like to offer these changes for the current gotmail baseline.
Please let me know if there is anything further you need to accomplish
this.

Thanks,
Jens
