I have one system that consistently fails scons check on
test/daemon/geostar-geos1m-binary.log
Is this worth tracking down? It's Fedora 20 on a VIA Esther which has been
running happily for years. If so, what do I do to get more info?
I took a quick glance at the log file, but the error printout is many pages
and I don't know what to look for. [The log file is 26K vs 8K or 9K on
systems that work correctly.]

I'm interested in how ntp should use the json interface to get time from a
GPS gizmo that doesn't have PPS. The TPV class gives time, but not offset
from the system clock. Is there something I'm overlooking?
{"class":"TPV","tag":"RMC","device":"/dev/gps0","mode":2,
"time":"2014-08-20T04:00:41.000Z","ept":0.005,
"lat":37.434765000,"lon":-122.204391667,"track":333.4400,"speed":0.376}
