Andy,

Thanks for setting this up. I've successfully downloaded the umbrella
distribution and some of the packages, and so far bzr does seem easier
to use than Arch.

I'm wondering now how to formalise my guile-gnome additions for the
Nokia 770. These consist of a new module, for the 770-specific
"hildon" API, plus associated .defs files, plus a few minor bug fixes
(IIRC) to existing code.

Would you be happy in principle for me to integrate this into your
repository? If you would, the structure that I have in mind is:

- two new modules, "hildon1" and "hildon2", containing the 2005 and
2006 versions of the 770-specific API, including the .defs files

- two new packages:

guile-maemo1: defs glib gtk atk pango hildon1
guile-maemo2: defs glib gtk atk pango hildon2

Does that sound about right? (The platform as a whole on the 770 is
called maemo.)

On the other hand, if you don't think your repo is the right place for
this stuff, can you recommend an alternative arrangement?

Thanks,
      Neil
