Not sure. GuixSD is clearly a departure from “traditional Unix.” I
agree that we have to work to make this acceptable and intelligible to
those used to traditional Unix.
That said, what it brings, notably reproducible system deployments with
‘guix system’, would hopefully be considered a selling point to system
administrators used to the imperative way.
