I have only tried the GTK+ interface and the list jobs thing worked, but 
I could not get it to start the create job. I haven't looked into the 
graphics part yet as I need to make sure that the rest of the system 
work decently first.

You wouldn't mind signing up to the "help-gnubatch" and "bug-gnubatch" mailing lists would you? I have to "approve" all your posts.

There's also a group for the "next release of Gnubatch wish-list". It's actually a complete ground-up rewrite with lots of new features (job heirarchy, named arbitrarily complex condition structures) which I've written most of the code for but haven't had time to finish.
