Mr. Bodo:
I made on mistake in the reply I just sent, please reverse my wording
of "BAYONNE not GNUComm" to "GNUComm not BAYONNE".
I started to read the design document, and I can see now this software
really isn't even ready for prime time yet based on the writings there. I will
look back when it is installable and workable in RPM format.
Very Respectfully,

GNUComm is a meta-project like GNOME or GNUe. Bayonne is an integral
component of GNUComm. Bayonne is a software project, like apache or
GEAS. In GNUComm terminology, Bayonne is a Component that fulfills a
Function of GNUComm. For more info on GNUComm, please read:
http://www.gnu.org/software/gnucomm/overview.html. For more
information on Bayonne please read:
http://www.gnu.org/software/bayonne/bayonne.html. These are not
products in the sense that they are produced for sale. They are
products in the sense that they are produced by the work of
volounteers around the world. If you would like to see how a GNU
meta-project that is far more mature than GNUComm looks, see
www.gnome.org.
If your real question is how do I make a voice-mail answering machine
with Bayonne? The answer is that it currently takes some serious
work, but this has been asked many times on the Bayonne developers
list, so I suggest you go to the bayonne website listed above and
either subscribe to the list or check the list archives.
