Unless there are Mac users on this list who can answer (I can't), let me
suggest writing the TeX-users-on-MacOSX list,
http://www.esm.psu.edu/mac-tex/main.shtml#Mailinglist.  Even if you're
not using TeX, there is a lot of overlap in infrastructure.
