Hi, 

Okay - I got the shared lib to be i386 arch: 

bedartha$ file /usr/local/lib/libigraph.0.dylib
/usr/local/lib/libigraph.0.dylib: Mach-O dynamically linked shared library 
i386 

(I followed the arch flags in the same line with "./configure" as you said 
and also the rest of the commands to the letter.) 

"" The funny thing is that I _do_ have /usr/bin/gcc-4.2 on my machine: 

> > $ ls -la /usr/bin/gcc-4.2
> > -rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  113024 May 16 06:37 /usr/bin/gcc-4.2 ""

I don't have it (i.e. gcc-4.2): 

bedartha$ ls -la /usr/bin/gcc-4.2
ls: /usr/bin/gcc-4.2: No such file or directory 

I installed Xcode two days ago trying (earlier) to sort this out myself :P
