Hello all:

My name is Trad. Perhaps some of you saw my name before; I was in contact with you a long time ago.
I'm interested in free software and have a good background in C ( which I learned on my own ). My original spaciality is mathematics and not computer science or IT, so the problem I'm having is that I am not a "geek" computer science - wise by which I mean that certain very simple things illude me. I feel confident that I can contribute somehow to free software development but my knowledge is mainly theoretical. I need some advice as to something specific and very simple to start with in order to get momentum.

Thank you all for your collaboration.
