We won't start 1.7 before 1.6 is reasonably stable. Besides, LilyPond
is now so modular that we can do a lot of grotesque hacking in a
stable release by putting the code into a by-default-unused
module. Also 1.5 doesn't get much bugtesting now -- releasing 1.6 is a
much more effective way of testing the program :-)
