No, I'm trying to run 1.4 in this case, so I think I'm running the
lilypond-profile of 1.4. TEXINPUTS looks right, but TEXMF has:

TEXINPUTS=/home/lconrad/src/lilypond/share/lilypond/tex:/home/lconrad/src/lilypond/share/lilypond/ps:
TEXMF={/home/stable/usr/share/lilypond/1.4.14,{/home/stable/usr/share/lilypond/1.4.14,{/usr/local/share/lilypond/1.4.14,{/usr/local/share/lilypond/1.4.14,{/usr/local/share/lilypond/1.4.14,{/usr/local/share/lilypond,{/usr/local/share/lilypond,{/usr/share/texmf.local,!!/usr/share/texmf}}}}}}}}

This is Greek to me, but I can easily imagine this meaning the MF is
looking in /usr/local/share/lilypond, which would be wrong. If this
is the case, I don't understand why it worked 5 days ago, though.
