I don't know whether you already decided to do so, but why not make
everyone happy with keeping the current big list sorted alphabetically
among the appendices, and considering the new splitted lists as an
addition (maybe in Text section rather than in Appendices)? As this
kind of documentation is automatically generated, there is no negative
consequence of duplicate information here.
