Hmm.  I've seen these errors for a long time now (maybe a year and a
half), and I'm always using the latest fontforge tarball.

Testing CVS, I get similar errors, first appearing with feta11:

  Invoking "fontforge -script feta11.pe feta11.pfb"...

   Executable based on sources from 01:59 GMT 17-Aug-2009.
   Library based on sources from 05:09 GMT 14-Aug-2009.
  Internal Error in accidentals.flat.arrowdown: monotonic is both needed and 
unneeded.
  Internal Error in accidentals.flat.arrowdown: monotonic is both needed and 
unneeded.
  Internal Error in accidentals.flat.arrowdown: Expected needed monotonic.
