2.17.1 regtests

I've just spent a happy few moments looking at around 900 regtest 
differences - most of the ones between 2.17.0 and 17.1.  It's not a big deal 
except for my sanity - we did know there would be a lot.  I've not checked 
them all, because my PC gets rather hot while running the tests and it went 
sproing towards the end, which sounded important so I aborted the tests at 
tablature*.ly.  In practice, I think the PC is OK...

Anyway, I found a number that concern me.  See them at 
http://www.philholmes.net/lilypond/regtestresults/2.17.1/.  Mike - some of 
these will be halpful for your skylines work, so do please look at them. 
There are others worth checking by those who value avoiding collisions. 
Please do take a look.

There are also logfile diffs that may be worth considering.  Since Mike's 
work allows systems to pack closer together, some of the checks on overflow 
have changed, and it may be worth checking if the regtest is still doing its 
job.  Logfile diffs are below.
