We rarely (if ever) have perfectly duplicated material.  We tend
to have duplicated and slightly different material.  In such
cases, at least one of the duplications contains incorrect info.

... I'll admit that 10 minutes of poking around in the CG didn't
find any such instances of duplicated material.  CG 1.4 Mentors
should be removed, and most of the stuff in CG 14 Administrative
policies is probably useless and/or misleading, but I didn't see
any obvious huge holes in those 10 minutes.
