"Several" nice text editors for Windows?  Can you name some of the others?
Googling 'free windows text editors' gets, in addition to EditPad:

TextPad http://www.textpad.com/ £16.50 GBP (about $29 USD).
Crimson Editor: http://www.crimsoneditor.com/ free
Some others: http://www.thefreecountry.com/programming/editors.shtml

And then there is emacs for Windows: http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/emacs.html which I just installed.
