Thanks for the plug, but the lilypond use in the rhythm tapping
exercises (including tempo) was completely non-interactive.  The
exercises were created automatically, but in advance, and were
"compiled into" the flash swf file.

The closest thing I've come to "interactive" lilypond use was
creating sheet music during concert, back in 2006:

(create 2 bars at once, musicians lagging 4 bars behind the sheet
music which I was "gesturing" (using novel input devices) at the
time)

I've abandoned that project, but Jamie Bullock has expressed an
interested in maintaining and improving it.
