This is very nice, but unfortunately repeats the symbols at line
breaks, which is not ideal. To avoid this, you probably want to add:

  \once \override TextSpanner #'(bound-details left-broken text) = ##f
  \once \override TextSpanner #'(bound-details right-broken text) = ##f
