Tuplets spaced unevenly

LilyPond is not achieving consistent spacing on certain configurations with tuplets.
Attached is the highlighted LilyPond vs. original that caught my attention (from Beethoven Sonata 1 Mov 2).
Also, attaching a symmetrical snippet in which the issue shows up too.
