Hi,

I've subscribed to this mailing list from the very beginning and have
been reading the subsequent emails sent here. I can't really collaborate
on this project, due to time/knowledge restrictions, but I honestly
think it's a great idea.

However, and if I'm missing something here feel free to point me to the
right place, I do think you guys documenting the various kernel
subsystems should focus not on the 2.4 tree but rather on the 2.5 one.
This would make more sense in the long run considering that a) the
subsystems are changing/have changed quite a lot (VM and scheduler come
to mind) and b) when 2.6 (or however you want to call it) is out your
work would still be pretty much valid cuz you'd be on top things in the
first place.

If you document the 2.4 series only, even though you'd have great
documentation, that documentation would be dated because in a few months
time it won't refer to the latest stable kernel.
