[Ltib] Files/folders under ltib/rootfs/dev/ were not packed into rootfs.

Hi there,

Two questions drived me nut:

1. Why does only limited number of files/folders turn up under
/rootfs/dev/ after './ltib' build?
2. Why folders/files under 'rootfs/dev/' were not packed into
rootfs.jffs2 with './ltib -p dev -f' forcing device_table build
command?

There were no such problems when I was playing around with Phytec3250
board build.
It happened after I added my own board. But from what I can see, all
changes of adding my own board should not affect LTIB rootfs build.

DETAILS ARE AS BELOW
-----------------------------------------------

After doing ./ltib build. (It was done AFTER ./ltib -m distclean), I
can only see limited number of files/foldrs.

address@hidden ltib-qs]$ ll rootfs/dev/
total 16
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 5, 1 2010-11-17 17:27 console
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   12 2010-11-17 17:27 mtab -> /proc/mounts
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 1, 3 2010-11-17 17:27 null
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 5, 0 2010-11-17 17:27 tty

After checking LTIB Q&A, I used './ltib -p dev -f' and successfully
created all files/folders under rootfs/dev/

address@hidden ltib-qs]$ ll rootfs/dev/
total 704
crw-rw-rw- 1 root rpcuser  14,   4 2010-11-23 11:16 audio

crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,   1 2010-11-23 11:16 tty1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,   2 2010-11-23 11:16 tty2

crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,   5 2010-11-23 11:16 tty5
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,   6 2010-11-23 11:16 tty6
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,   7 2010-11-23 11:16 tty7
............................

crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,  65 2010-11-23 11:16 ttyS1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,  66 2010-11-23 11:16 ttyS2
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root      4,  67 2010-11-23 11:16 ttyS3
...........................

But after programming rootfs.jffs2 that was newly generated into
FLASH. There were just a few more folders.

address@hidden /]# ls -al /dev/
drwxr-xr-x    6 root     root            0 Nov 22  2010 .
drwxr-xr-x   19 root     root            0 Jan  1 00:00 ..
crw-rw-rw-    1 root     root       5,   1 Nov 22  2010 console
drwxr-sr-x    2 root     root            0 Nov 22  2010 input
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           12 Nov 22  2010 log -> /var/tmp/log
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           12 Nov 22  2010 mtab -> /proc/mounts
drwxr-sr-x    2 root     root            0 Nov 22  2010 net
crw-rw-rw-    1 root     root       1,   3 Nov 22  2010 null
drwxr-xr-x    2 root     root            0 Jan  1 00:00 pts
drwxrwxrwt    2 root     root           40 Jan 29 10:05 shm
crw-rw-rw-    1 root     root       5,   0 Nov 22  2010 tty

Any coments or suggestions are highly appreciated.

Regards,
Quentin
