Follow-up Comment #22, patch #5834 (project lwip):

I'm happy if it is set to zero for good.

If Frédéric is worried that someone might depend on it, perhaps a message
in lwip-users is in order, with reference to this patch to avoid repeating
the technical details.

If someone comes along later and complains that they were dependent on DF
(for some obscure reason) then they can add it back in their port, or an
IP_FRAG_FLAGS mechanism could be added then.
