[m17n-list] Questions about hi-itrans.mim

[विश्वासो वासुकेयः / Vis hvas Vasuki]

I am a heavy user of hi-itrans.mim and kn-itrans.mim (with some modifications for ease of use).

With hi-itrans.mim, I have long faced the following problem:
I type marut.. and expect to get मरुत्।, but get मरुत्.. What is the cause, and how can this be fixed?
