I just commited a few fug fixes, this problem should be solved, but it
need to be tested (the bug did not appear in my config).

The just commited version is unofficial, because it is only to test
improvements for this bug. As soon as I receive new informations (see
the Too Many Open File Descrs bug report in the Bug Report System for
more information), logs for example, I may commit new fixes.

There is a limit under which the number of servers cannot decrease
(the option is set to 200). If the remaining servers are under this,
all the servers are kept (ie 22k). Maybe it can explain your problem,
if not, I need to check that (put a Bug Report in the Project page please)
