[Mldonkey-users] can't kill mldonkey

When I issue the 'kill' command from either of the gui/telnet interfaces i get 
an error, 'exception Sys_error("Broken pipe") for message KillServer', so I 
have to kill -9 <pid> and that's bad I hear.

I tried to strace it and strace exits after the kill command, mumbling 
something about a broken pipe.  The last thing in the strace log is a 
connection refused.

I believe it started when i changed my setup from running mldonkey-1.99b as 
nobody to building the latest from cvs and running as an ordinary user.

I'm a bit anxious to kill -9 the donkey, so I would just like to hear if 
anyone has experienced anything like that, before i start experimenting.
