More servers block mldonkey because it is mldonkey and not because of
the lower protocol version.

Doing so would decimate the whole donkey network to about a tenth of its
size, because many users of the official client use an older version.

Setting mldonkey to a higher protocol revision than it originally speaks
is Bad Thing[tm], because then you may get communication errors between
the servers or peer clients and your client resulting in an abortion of
the connection, which is just the opposite of what you wanted to achive
by setting the revision to a higher number in the first place.
