My load hasn't increased at all.

13:44:46 up 86 days, 21:13,  5 users,  load average: 0.46, 0.59, 0.58

Perhaps it helps for you to slow down the compute_md4_delay.

compute_md4_delay = 0.2 <- new default. quite fast, but very cpu consuming

compute_md4_delay = 10 <- old default. slow but ok (except for a
recover_temp)

My compute_md4_delay is actually set to 0.66, based on the "Delay for MD4"
average output in the console log. Is this a good way to set the value?
