Yes, or later, when you don't trust a branch cert for some reasons. This is a general topic that has to be discussed in the scope of the so called "policy branches": is it really meaningful to use a revision's data (in the sense that it is an ancestor of a revision I actively use or even commit myself), but not trust its metadata?
But back to the topic: I wonder how missing or untrusted branch certs affect the git-export, unless these revisions are leaves?
