That is what I thought too.
He already downgraded to 0.40 and things work now. I am not really
sure about the details where things went wrong. To repeat: he pulled
using a 0.41 mtn from a database served by a 0.40 mtn to a fresh
database initialized using a 0.41 mtn.
I don't have access to all machines to obtain more version
information, but the operational problem seems to be solved.
