Thanks everyone. An excellent example of Leslie Lamport's famous definition of 
a distributed system: "A distributed system is one in which the failure of a 
computer you didn't even know existed can render your own computer unusable."

Hi All,

Southampton has a peering arrangement with Bradford Uni for some reason they
are not mapping the ecs.soton.ac.uk domain tree.  I believe that our systems
team is now aware of this and I will ask them for an ETA on it being fixed.
In the mean time Don said he will change the domain record for myexperiment
so it uses IP addresses instead.
