Benno,
The patch doesn't match the description of the problem :) ... but
there is a problem.
Open an existing file, hit ^K a few times, contiguously.
move to the next line and then back up to top line again,
hit ^K a few more times. Then do M-U, M-U.
The second undo says:"Nothing in undo buffer!".
The first series of ^Ks is entirely forgotten.
I'll look into it.
