[Nano-devel] [PATCH] AUTO_VIEW option

Hi all,
when I open a read-only file in nano I never notice the warning in the status bar. I end up having to save to a different file, exit, su, mv. Every single time.

I wrote a patch to switch to VIEW_MODE automatically, which is a more obvious form of feedback. Should I post it to savannah?
