No -- they watch the content of a directory, in this case: latest/
When they see 2.5.0 and 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 and 2.5.3 disappear
and 2.6.0 appear, they know something's new.  When next they
see 2.6.1 appear next to 2.6.0...  They watch the content of the
dir, not the URL itself.
