Follow-up Comment #55, bug #31468 (project octave):

Hi Ben,

Please disregard my last "txt_eng_ft_rendering.patch" patch (file #23813), for
some reason I'm not seeing negative xoffset+face->glyph->bitmap_left at all
anymore... Not sure what changed. 

Attached is the test patch. Here is a sample run:


% ./run-octave
...
octave:1> title("hellonworld")
convert -depth 8 -size 26x23 pixels.rgba -background white -flatten
pixels.png
octave:2> exit

% convert -depth 8 -size 26x23 pixels.rgba -background white -flatten
pixels.png


It will make pixels.rgba, and then just run the command it gives you (assuming
you have imagemagick installed) to make pixels.png.

Attached is my pixels.png as my_pixels_test.png.
