Follow-up Comment #51, bug #31468 (project octave):

Hi Ben,

The gl2ps patch is just currently an experiment, but this is interesting to
see. Just so I'm on the same page here, these attached PDFs are print()
outputs? How does the text look in the FLTK GUI itself?

For communication purposes here, it might be worth it to distinguish the two
as FLTK/OpenGL and print/gl2ps, because the rendering code invoked for both is
similar but different and separate (both for example, have a distinct
draw_text(), and the experimental patch is implementing the print/gl2ps
renderer's draw_text() similar to the FLTK/OpenGL renderer draw_text()).
