Follow-up Comment #3, bug #37290 (project octave):

This report does seem vague, but 
I have noticed that there are conditions
under which:
octave
plot(xx,yy)
      %% change the size of the plot window
      %% and other plot options
....
close
plot(xx,yy)

results in the second plot(xx,yy) not
appearing the same as the first one.
(Using the current devel system.)

This is also very vague and right now I have
not been able to reproduce this behavior.

But, I suspect that close does not completely
reset all plot options.

If I can isolate a test case I will report it
under this bug #.
