I'm reopening this bug report becuase it doesn't seem to be comppletely fixed
yet.

I no longer see an error, and the test


demo ("plotyy", 1);
sombrero


does appear to work.  However, if I do

+vertabim+
demo plotyy


and step through all the demos, then do


sombrero


I see the attached figure, not the sombrero I was expecting.  So it seems that
plotyy is still seting some properties that are not being cleared before
creating the sombrero plot.  Does anyone else see this behavior?
