Follow-up Comment #28, bug #49609 (project octave): Running Xubuntu 16.04 64bit and getting CTRL-C crashes in Octave frequently, both in self-compiled current dev and also the Octave 4.0 from the Ubuntu distribution. Simply hitting CTRL-C at the command prompt repeatedly will trigger the crash after a while. When running from the terminal shell I just get "octave exited with signal 6" When running from the XFCE menu the complete X session crashes.
