Follow-up Comment #13, bug #53700 (project octave):

There is already a test in eigs of type


%! if (isreal (d))
%!   assert (d(4), NaN);
%! else
%!   assert (d(4), NaN +1i*NaN);
%! endif


Look for bug #49523, starting from comment #41. It was a blas-dependent
result. So, the easy fix is to introduce if-else-endif in this test, too.

@Dmitri: can you check with different blas versions (ref, openblas, atlas)?
