What? I don't see reasoning for this. This info is already on the
distribution specific page. This is an Octave wiki, pages about Linux
distributions will only have installation and building instructions.
Why are you listing dependencies on yet another page with building
instructions with distribution specific?

At the moment we have a list of Octave dependencies for Ubuntu in: 1)
Octave manual, 2)  Debian based systems, and 3) Debian section in th
Building for Linux systems. The reason for both 1 and 2 existing is
that 1 lists dependencies names while 2 lists instructions and package
names. But really, we don't need another one. Let's please work the
pages that already exist, and not create others that will just
increase the number of pages to maintain.
