Haha, reboot?  That's a bit drastic, Windows boy. :]

The problem, whatever it is, could have been fixed by killing Om.

om_gtk not starting if you run it too soon is not surprising at all, 
but not coming up at all after a while isn't good.  Can you give me any 
more information?
