Maybe min/max isn't the meaningful on second thought.

Hmm. Good point, I never thought of that. Input control port values are saved, but since the MIDI binding is an output port, it isn't. That's kinda a nasty hack. Hmph.

About saving: If the controller was simply connected to a "slider" or "value" that value is what could be saved...

About non-clicking: Isn't it just a matter of storing the last send-out controller value and then only send out another one if it's close anought to the last one. And this "stored last send out value" would also be the one that we would like to save together with the patch. That seems doable (from where I sit)...
