If we'd maintain 0-11-fix along with HEAD and 0-12-fix, we'd have more
branches than developers. Common sense tells me that's not a good plan.

(one could argue that with just HEAD and 0-12-fix we already have more
branches than _active_ developers, but that's a different story)

Seriously, maintaining branches is a huge timesink. Let's declare
0-11-fix dead and move on.

Well, bug fixes and (very) minor new features.  You can find the planned
changes for 0.12.1 at
