When I pull the sysadmin duty (happens quite often as I'm part owner in a
NT/2000/XP/etc and *nix consulting company catering to small companies.
Somehow I'm always pulling SA duty) I'm constantly trying to streamline
stuff and cut down on the amount of email I get. I love rotating logs,
personally. Log::Rotate I believe was the one I used for a lot of stuff on
Solaris - the last place I really dealt with logs in a large scale. I
believe I grabbed it from Sun's BigAdmin, and I'm sure it would work fine
for just about any log file you can imagine, including one for Pan.
