Hi Andrew,

Could you let me know what other library versions yo are using? There may be other elements that I ought to upgrade also?

I did build with gmime-2.6.20, but it has not fixed Dick's issue. Perhaps I should just be upgrading everything in sight - That does tend to take a lot of time though :(

Hi,

Thanks Andrew, GMime version sounds like a very likely candidate - I'll attempt to update it in the near future. It is a real PITA so it is not something I tend to do lightly :)

Cheers,
Steve

Hi, kinda but not really. The patch I gave to Steve that he included
into build 215 did have some positive effect. Posts no longer
terminate after a few KB, as you can see in the nzbs from your test
uploads (see attached screenshot). The headers show it as complete on
my server but as you probably know, it doesn't download right.

Unfortunately I didn't make any other changes to Pan relating to
binary posting - apart from a few minor cosmetic changes the whole
program is identical to the GIT source. So I wondered... if it isn't
Pan itself, could it be something to do with an external library
instead?

I used Olly to view the code at _g_mime_check_version and think that
Steve is using GMIME 2.6.9, whereas my build has GMIME 2.6.20.
Assuming I'm not wrong about the version it might be worth updating
it, although I admit I am guessing.

Andrew
