Ok, the addressbook upgrades correctly.  Preferences don't stick though.  I
looks like trying to set preferences for email resets the rest of the
preferences.  Now what it resets it to varies.  I haven't figured out what
determines what preferences get reset to.  Sometimes it's Default, sometimes
it's Verdilak.

This doesn't happen on a fresh install.

I hope I explained this well enough.
