I'm not quite sure (I haven't got enought time to play with it), partly 
because there is not very many softwares which support more than too 
simultaneous channels. note: emi2|6 it offers only one dsp device which 
is used for all channels.

On windows side I use Cubase which can handle emi 2|6 with 3x stereo 
channel pairs.

Actually, I have that too ;) I have one emi6|2m card.
And according to www.emagic.de it can be found from stores too.
